The evening starts with a cooking class highlighting the native and medicinal foods of the Sonoran desert. Afterwards, a delicious five-course, vegan, gluten-free meal will be served featuring these special ingredients. Come with questions and curiosity as we will end the evening with a Q&A discussion.
In this class we'll talk about how to to transition to a plant-based diet. Topics include learning about plant-based protein sources, how to choose low carb foods, and how to obtain the full spectrum of nutrients your body needs on a vegan diet. You will learn to create quick, balanced meals that are flavorful and nutritious! Following the cooking demonstration, you will enjoy a vegan paleo meal focusing on organic, local foods.

This class will show you how to transform ordinary foods to a world fusion experience. We'll discuss the health benefits of spices and herbs and how to use them in cooking. You'll learn how to make sauces and dressings of all flavors to add to salads, stir-fry, pasta, rice dishes, and much more. You'll enjoy a delicious meal using the creations we made afterwards.
